Chingalire

Chingalire is a small village in Malawi. It is located about 30 kilometers from Lilongwe, the capital of Malawi. It was founded by the father of the current chief, Ben Michael Mankhamba. Over the past 10 years, Chingalire has developed into a place that vividly combines culture, tradition, climate protection, and sustainability.

Education, health protection, and the empowerment of women are of particular concern to the chief. Chingalire has a small school with a solar power system, a cultural center, an amphitheater, a library, and a health station. For interested visitors from Malawi and abroad, there are accommodations that contribute to their well-being. The welcoming culture and the great cultural offerings are inviting more and more culture enthusiasts to visit Malawi and Chingalire.
